Pickleball just closed a TV deal babyyyy!

 Is Pickleball more than a trendy sport?

You are GD right.  If Lebron, Brady, and Durant were already in, imagine how cocky will Pickleball get with its first TV cred.

You see, the Association of Pickleball Professionals, aka APP if you are cool,  closed a coverage deal with two major TV networks. We don't wanna name-drop, but...the first one starts with a "C" and ends with "BS". The second one begins with an "E" and ends with "SPN".

How much money was on the deal? We have no idea, though you can be sure that it was more than enough to buy a boat. Why a boat? I don't know, ask rich people.  The only thing we know for sure is this: Pickleball is only going up.

Ever dreamed of owning license plates that read “IFINL0V3PICKLEB4LL”? If you live in Washington, cross your fingers, knock on wood and kiss a cousin. Actually, let’s not do the last one. Just wish for luck! The Seattle Metro Pickleball Association petitioned for a bill to legally use pickleball-themed license plates. If the state approves, it will no longer be a fever dream.

The DeVos family lusts for pickleball and it’s bringing a team to Orlando

The DeVos family might not own the best NBA team in America. Hey, they might not even own the best NBA team in Orlando. Even so, they are right on track to own the best, the greatest, the superb-iest Pickleball team in the country. How? Well, the DeVos just incorporated the Orlando Squeeze as a new Major League Pickleball team for the 2023 season…and they are damn rich.

But even if the Squeeze doesn’t earn the crown, at least they won’t end up in 13th place in the Eastern Conference too… Right?
