Humanity agrees only in two facts: 1) Hawaaian pizza started out as a joke and 2) Pickleball is way more historically significant and relevant than tennis.

That's why big names like Gigi Hernandez, hall of famer, 17-time doubles title conqueror, and two-time Olympic gold winner is now a Pickleball Pro Player. Two years ago, a friend invited her to play Pickleball for the first time and she replied as we all did before falling in love with the game: "Really?"

But now, Gigi is no. 9 in the world (Seniors Division) and competes in over 8 tournaments a year. Good for her and for the sport!

“What does the country need to be better?" is the most asked question every single day by the American citizens. “More Pickleball Courts” seems to be the answer. The right one.

For instance, as of now, 12 brand new Pickleball courts are currently under construction at Burns Park in North Little Rock. The city itself is financing $750k to make North Little Rock one of the most prestigious cities in the world. Or maybe just in Arkansas.

Pickleball keeps growing into a major sport. Each day we witness the birth of new tournaments, the rise of prolific sports writers (right???) and the confirmation of courts construction projects, which means that engineers FINALLY have a job!

The question remains: who truly saw this coming? Not Ben Johns!  The 23 year-old God of Pickleball, at least according to top scholars, recently declared that he had no idea the sport was going to become a big deal in such a short timeframe. He had even less idea about his newfound fame.

Though Johns is not super rich (yet), he’s no anonymous player either. And now CBS Sports will broadcast a Pro Pickleball Association Tour event where he headlines the tour’s publicity. Will this make more people stop him in the street? Yeap.

So if you’re reading this, Ben, Benny, Bennybenny, and we know you are…we’d love to be your new bodyguards.
