London International Airport is fun now

Plus: Jamie Foxx is on the right path to his recovery

I heart fun

What’s up, everybody? Welcome to PickleWho, #1 pickleball blog and protector of a deeply marginalized group in society: 30-year-olds who feel young, but are clearly out-of-touch with today’s pop culture. If words like “sh-itposting”, “slay”, and “millennial pause” seem strange to you, don’t worry: we’re here to support you in this difficult life stage.

And here’s the pickleball news:

  • London International Airport is fun now

  • A new generation of pickleball players is ready to take over!

  • Jamie Foxx is on the right path to his recovery

I’m into London

London, home of The Beatles, Paddington Bear, and mediocre food, wants to catch up with the pickleball craze. And what better way to do it than to announce the reopening of the community court at the London International Airport. Why was it closed in the first place? That’s a mystery better served in the hands of Mr. Bond.

The court is free to use, but parking is $2 per hour. Besides, the airport offers free equipment for those who don’t have a racket: you just have to borrow one from the airport’s security operations center.

“God save the King!”...is a phrase I will never ever say again.

Young pickleball stars join the APP

The APP is focused on debunking the myth that all pickleball players are old, even if some of us clearly are.  So, in this hard-fought battle against these rumors, the APP announced the creation of their Next Gen National Team with only 16 to 23 years old. Since these players will represent the US in overseas tournaments, they will benefit from training camps, video analysis, on-site coaching, and my personal blessing.

By the way, this proves that 24 year olds are officially considered old.

Jamie Foxx is alive thanks to pickleball!

Ok, that’s not entirely true. In fact, that’s not true at all. Let me clarify.

You’ve probably heard the rumors surrounding Jamie Foxx’s health. Some say he was in critical condition, others say that his family was preparing for the worst. Just like 90% of men who say “I love you” after 1 month of dating, these comments couldn’t be more false.

According to his daughter Corinne Foxx, Jamie is not only okay, he is also playing pickleball during his recovery. If only Michael J. Fox had known the game…
