Guess what happened at the Austin Showdown?

I know the title “Austin Showdown” suggests that a wrestling match between The Rock and John Cena will take place in Texas, but the truth is even better: it was actually the latest PPA Tour event, and the results are in!

Once again, Ben Johns and Anna Leight Waters achieved a triple crown. They even teamed up in a mixed doubles match, and even though they lost the second game against Anna Bright and James Ignatowich (YES, a complete shocker), they managed to win the match 11-8, 11-13, 11-4, and 11-5, taking the trophy home.

At this rate, they'll have to rent an abandoned mansion to display their trophies. I support that idea as long as the GOATs of pickleball avoid renting Neverland.

Friends is one of the greatest comedies to ever air on TV. And if you’re like me, you based your entire 20s persona on Chandler. If you are not like me, you based it on Phoebe and that’s…interesting. However, I’d say the Chandlers of the world are winning since Matthew Perry is the latest celebrity to confess his love for pickleball!

Matthew goes as far as to have his own court installed in his house to play regularly against pickleball pros and friends, of course. Who are these pros, though? No idea, but I believe the guy.

The only issue is that Matthew wishes the sport would be called “anything other than pickleball” and I’m not supporting that motion. That's like suggesting to change the title of Friends to something like “Fellas”.

Andre Agassi is back to action!

Tennis legend Andre Agassi is coming back from retirement to play a real sport: pickleball!

Agassi is set to play a Pickleball Slam against fellow legend John McEnroe, the second male player in tennis history to hold the world No. 1 ranking in both singles and doubles simultaneously. The other player is me on the Tennis World Tour game on PS4.

These superstars will play each other on April 2, and Agassi already made clear that if he doesn't win against McEnroe, he'll never play another sport. Let's wait and see what happens!
